Association Volunteer Workshops
Chapter Presidents and District Directors Training Workshop
Chapter Presidents and DDs connect alumnae and alumni who live in the same area through events. Learn about effective ways to get groups together, plan engaging events, and connect alums with each other and the College.
Class Secretaries Workshop
The class secretary serves as a liaison between her/his classmates and the College. This workshop will discuss communications with classmates and compilation of news received from classmates for publication in the Bulletin section of the Vita abundantior magazine.
Class Agents Workshop
The class agent also serves as a liaison between her/his classmates and the College. This person is tasked with primarily encouraging classmates to participate in the Annual Fund. The workshop will share ideas for communications and help set goals for the upcoming year.
Alum Admissions Representatives
The alum admissions representative serves as a local contact for prospective students and applicants by sharing their experiences at the College and answering any questions students may have. They encourage applicants to enroll at the College and encourage students to visit the campus.
Class Reunion Committees
Class Committees have ongoing virtual training with class committee members through September and October.
If you are a member of a class ending in 5 or 0, you are in Reunion in 2025! Reunion 2025 will be held Thursday, May 29 – Sunday, June 1. Join your Class Reunion Committee and be an important part of setting the programming schedule, reconnect with classmates and encourage their attendance, and work with the College staff to set goals for your class gift.
Homecoming Tailgate
In the spirit of traditional tailgating, the Randolph-Macon Woman’s College Alumnae and Randolph College Alumni Association is offering a special event for the Randolph Community!
Join us at the MAC parking lot for this tradition. Bring your food, beverage of choice (no open- and common-source containers like kegs, etc.), grills, chairs, and pop-up tents. You can park your car/van/truck (sorry, no recreational vehicles) in your 8.5-by-15 foot parking space (a 10-by-10 foot tent does not fit in the parking space) or you can set up your tailgate supplies during the check-in time and park elsewhere on campus.
Each spot costs $25. Buy a spot in the lot with friends! Classes and affinity groups will be assigned together, so you can easily find your friends. Got a group of friends/cars that wants to be together? Let us know when you register. Parking spots are available on a first-come, first-served basis when registering and paying. Parking spots will NOT be sold the day of the event.
Tailgate Contest:
- Best Food: Judged on flavor and presentation.
- Best Spirit: Decorate your spot with plenty of flair!
We hope you’ll take part in these contests, judged by members of AAB. We’ll even have prizes for the winners!
There will be a band, photobooth, games, and more!
